New Žeželj bridge will be on the same place where the old one. The bridge has kept a similar geometry as the previous embodiment, but the main bracket of the bridge is projected by a different material (steel frame with diagonal cross ties instead of the demolished concrete structures with vertical ties). The new bridge will be 474 m long and 31 m wide. It will have two sets of railway tracks, two lanes and two pedestrian bycicle lanes. The structure is made of reinforced concrete (pillars and road slab) and steel (the main bracket). The total amount of concrete planned in project is approximately 13000m³, and armature is around 2500 tons. Height abutments are from 7m to 14m.
